Alberi e Case
Alberi e Case
exhibition
‘Trees and Houses’ is the title of this exhibition, apparently a very simple question, already clear to intuition, present in the history of architecture, full of examples, a topic that is continually rediscovered, but also, as it is easy to see, much neglected.
Through the works and materials presented in the exhibition the prerogative of an environmental architecture is found in the elementary and profound relationship between the built and vegetation. Vegetation and the built are understood experimentally throughout the exhibition as the two equal halves, living in mutual empathy of a possible architecture: an architecture among the trees, revealed by the trees and the seasons.
This arboreal architecture, made up of trees, space, time, is present in different forms, in certain projects brought to its drastic limit, even in the absence of the built.
