‘Magic Moments, Inside’ is an exhibition that was held in Milan, at the gallery Viafarini (Via Carlo Farini 35, 20159 Milan), from April the 9th to April the 14th 2013. It took place at the same time of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and its usual side event the Fuori Salone. The exhibition brought together many innovative prototypes and works of design, architecture, photography, video and other applied arts, produced by Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and ALADlabs, Politecnico di Milano. It is the beginning of a new platform and an original and interesting collaboration between some of the most dynamic schools and cultural environments.

During one week a series of events opened up new fields of research and experimentation. Daily at 5 p.m. Volup-thè© took place, a revival of a very civilized ritual that nowadays has fallen almost into oblivion, to support and demonstrate the need for and the possibility of a balanced, sustainable and more enjoyable social life. The exhibition was promoted by Goethe-Institut Mailand and was held under the patronage of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, Department of Design at POLIMI and the Chamber of Commerce Italy-Germany.
